James Lee is the founder of Lee CPA Audit Group. James is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara and has earned a B.A. in Business Economics and Accounting. Prior to starting his own firm, James has spent twelve years in public accountancy working for KPMG and several other prominent regional and local CPA firms where he gained broad experience in all facets of auditing and accounting.

James has overseen hundreds of employee benefit plan audits. These plans include 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing, ESOP, money purchase, defined benefit pension and health & welfare plans.
